Tim Houser is described as a hard-working self-employed builder who has always been self sufficient. Recently he developed a serious staph blood infection and was hospitalized. He was suffering with back pain that didn’t wane and a MRI revealed an abscess.  On June 6 he had surgery to place ports in his back.  Due to little improvement and low white blood cell counts, a second surgery was necessitated on June 11 to place additional ports to drain fluid. Recently a PIC line was inserted to administer antibiotics at home 3 times a day. Tim is recovering and will be unable to return to work for some time.

Tim and Kari have a strong community of friends that have rallied together to help raise help and hope during a time of need.  Your online donation will be increased 20% and go directly to the Houser family to pay for medical and living expenses.  Tim and Kari have a daughter, Mari, living at home.
