Shirley Olson Fundraiser
Shirley Olson is currently undergoing cancer treatments. This is her second time battling cancer. She was initially diagnosed in January of 2022. Immediately following the diagnosis she had majority of her left lung removed followed by chemotherapy. Unfortunately the cancer has returned in her right lung. She is undergoing very harsh chemo treatments every 3 weeks through the end of July and then will begin radiation. Her cancer is not curable.
Shirley lives at home with her husband Warren who is disabled. He is a severe diabetic, struggles with mental health and is wheelchair bound. She is normally his care provider but has been unable to do what she normally does for him because of how sick she is from chemo treatments. Shirley was working full time as a special needs Para in a local high school but has not been able to work her regularly scheduled hours. She’s required a great deal of time off for appointments, surgery, and treatments.
Shirley’s loved ones have started this fundraiser to help pay monthly bills, prescriptions, and medical bills. Your online donation will be boosted 20% to make your giving go further.

Unexpected Loss
It is with a very heavy heart that I post this update. In the middle of the physical and financial burden my mother has already been experiencing we tragically lost my father, Warren Olson. They were married for 50 years and on Tuesday, June 13th he suffered a massive stoke and died due to a brain bleed. A service is being planned for Wednesday 21st to celebrate his life. With this great loss Shirley’s needs have become even larger now. We have appreciated everyone’s love and support so much. From meals and acts of kindness, to the financial contributions some have made, we’ve been blown away. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Prayers for your momma. I just lost my mom last month. Never want anyone want to watch their loved one take their last breath. But your mom will kick this in the @ss. If she has spunk like you. You will be in mind daily. Love to it at.
