Ron Ohren of Moorhead was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Glioblastoma in April.  He had his first surgery on April 19th where most of the tumor was removed.  He underwent a second surgery on May 11th to remove tumor regrowth and place gamma tiles to start radiation immediately.  Since then Ron has had a few bumps along the way- he has an infection and his body is not able to absorb the cerebral spinal fluid, so he has been in the hospital since May 11.  Ron owns his own business and has been unable to work since his brain cancer diagnosis so they have been living off his wife Michelle’s income as a teacher.

Friends have come forward to start this fundraiser for Ron and Michelle.  When you donate online, Lend A Hand Up will increase your gift 20% – 100% of your donation goes to the Ohrens.  Cash/Check gifts should be given directly to the Ron Ohren Benefit at Northwestern Bank in Hendrum.
