Rhonda Walock Fundraiser
Update: We are sad to share that Rhonda Walock passed away on February 23rd after fighting cancer for more than a decade. Donations will go to her family to help with medical and funeral expenses.
Rhonda Walock has been fighting breast cancer for the last decade, her first diagnosis coming to her in 2013, then again in 2019. In January of this year, she learned the cancer was back and has now spread to her lungs, liver, sternum and brain. She gets weak easily, as breathing is not easy with a very low oxygen level and a drainage tube to help with the fluid that builds up daily in her lungs. She is described as a caring and lovable person who has made an impact on her friends, family and the community. She is retired from the West Fargo Public School where she served lunch and laugher to thousands of kids in her 28 years of service! She is determined to fight again and gives credit to three amazing grandkids that keep that fight alive: Michael is 9, Rylee is 9 and Luna is 3.
Friends and Family have joined together to raise help and hope for Rhonda. Lend A Hand Up will boost your online donation 20% when you give here. Cash/Check gifts should be made payable to Rhonda Walock Benefit Fund at Alerus Bank.
