Nezir was recently diagnosed with a benign meningiomas tumor in his brain. Surgery is not an option because of the increased risk of nerve damage, but radiation is a must to help prevent more growth. Mayo performed a biopsy which unfortunately increased his challenges, especially visually. Nezir experienced no vision in his right eye for a short period of time. Now he is experiencing constant pain and double vision. He has not been able to work which is creating hardship as medical bills not covered by insurance are adding up. Travel costs to and from Mayo clinic and lodging for his wife (Del) and their three children to be there for him has added to the families’ financial burden.
