Jim Iverson Fundraiser
What started with Jim Iverson going into the hospital for some numbness/tingling in his left leg and a tremor in his hand, ended with a diagnosis of a grade 4 glioblastoma (malignant brain tumor) with a prognosis of a median 18 months to live.
For those of you that don’t know Jim, he’s extremely driven, intelligent, personable, and hard working. He worked in sales for many years and makes friends wherever he goes, sharing in knowledge and treating those he encounters with respect. He loves the Lord, and there isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his family. Jim enjoys hunting (especially with his sons Mark and Paul), cars, building and fixing things. Jim has been married to his best friend, Kathy, for 43 years. They’ve made their home in Moorhead and together they are a powerful example of a strong and healthy marriage centered in faith, love and open communication. He’s the BEST father, husband, Bumpa (grandpa to Kinsley, age 3), and friend. He has a lot of life and love left to give. His daughter-in-law Aimee has stepped (actually leaped) forward to start this fundraiser to bring help and hope to her family in this time of uncertainty. Funds raised will help pay for continued treatment as Jim fights this difficult battle with those he loves by his side.
Lend A Hand Up gladly partners with the Iverson family and will BOOST your generosity by 20% when you ‘Give’ to Jim’s online fund! Cash/Checks should be made payable to James Iverson Benefit Fund and dropped by a Bell Bank location. For more information contact Aimee at [email protected]
