Jackson Berg Fundraiser
Jackson was diagnosed with cancer in March 2024, but it wasn’t until May that the rare diagnosis of Primary Renal Rhabdomyosarcoma was confirmed. Since then, he has undergone surgery to remove a kidney and a piece of his lung. Over the past three months, his family who currently resides in West Fargo have traveled over 300 hours to Minneapolis for treatment. They will stay in Rochester for six weeks, starting the first week of September, for proton radiation therapy. Jackson’s diagnosis is extremely rare, with only ten documented cases, four of which are similar to his. Due to the aggressive nature of his cancer, he is undergoing intensive chemotherapy and requires blood and platelet transfusions every few days.
