Joe and Evelyn Brown Fundraiser
*Boost cap of $1000 per donor ($5000 gift)
The stress of a medical diagnosis is one thing when you factor in all of the expenses not covered by insurance, copays, medicine, travel to and from appointments, not to mention the worry of uncertainty. It is compounded even more so when it affects more than one person in the household. The Brown family of Kindred knows this stress well. Joe is fighting Stage 4 terminal lung cancer and Evelyn is fighting Stage 1 lung cancer. Joe has gone through multiple rounds of chemo, immunotherapy, and radiation. Evelyn has been doing a very aggressive chemo and radiation regimen. Both have been in the ER as a result of their treatment and other illnesses. Joe is disabled at home and Evelyn, a Clerk at the Kindred Post Office, is unable to work and has exhausted all of her sick and annual leave. The couple have a daughter Nikki Ernst (Matt) and a son, Josh Brown (Alli). They have 6 wonderful grandchildren who are their pride and joy: Kenzie (18), Bentley (10), Raegan (9), Brantley (7), Oakley (6) and Kendall (2).
Lend A Hand Up will boost your online gift 20%, making your generosity to the family go farther. Cash/Check gifts should be made payable directly to the Brown family and mailed to First Community Credit Union C/O Joe and Evelyn Brown Benefit | PO Box 307 | Kindred, ND 58051.
