Brodie Gilbertson Fundraiser
What was thought to be a quick trip to the walk in clinic in October 2021, soon became an admission to the hospital and a diagnosis of cancer. Brodie Gilbertson, freshman at West Fargo High School, was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He is currently undergoing chemotherapy and receives multiple blood transfusions, among other medication to treat the side effects of treatment. Brodie and his mom, Vanessa, will have travel and housing expenses when his treatment requires him to be at the Mayo Clinic. Brodie is active in the West Fargo Police Department Public Safety Cadet program, in fact, he was one of the youngest cadets ever accepted into the program. Vanessa is a volunteer Range Safety Officer at Red River Regional Marksmanship Center in West Fargo. Brodie has also volunteered at the range.
