Amy has been battling Lupus for three years, receiving the diagnosis of Lupus Nephritis in May of 2023. A month later she found out she was eligible for a clinical trial at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. The trial consists of weekly injections for 8 weeks, then bi-weekly injections the following 8 weeks.

Amy has been unable to work her normal hours because of the injections, as well as spending extra money on gas and hotel stays, sometimes for more than one night.
